Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps to absorb the minerals calcium and phosphorous, playing a vital role in forming and maintaining strong bones and teeth, regulating normal immune system function, maintaining heart and lung health, and combating depression.
Vitamin B12 is one of the eight B vitamins. It is a water-soluble vitamin. Vitamin B12 is responsible for neurological function, producing DNA, maintaining a healthy nervous system, and generating red blood cells which carry oxygen around the body. It is an essential nutrient in pregnancy.
